Legal Notice
The School Business Administrator/Board Secretary of the Mount Holly Township Board of Education,
in the County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, by authority of said Board, solicits sealed bids for
2024 ‐ 2025 Student Transportation Services. Bids will be received at the Business Office of the Mount
Holly Township Board of Education, located at 331 Levis Drive in Mount Holly, NJ 08060 up to
12:00 P.M. Prevailing Time

Specifications and full information may be obtained upon request from the Business Office of the
Mount Holly Township Board of Education, 331 Levis Drive, Mount Holly, NJ 08060 or by emailing
mryan@mtholly.k12.nj.us. Bid specifications and information can also be found on the district
website’s at www.mtholly.k12.nj.us
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), Affirmative
Action.
The Mount Holly Township Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids. No proposals
shall be opened previous to the hour designated in the advertisement and none shall be received
thereafter—N.J.S.A. 18A:39‐5. All bids must be submitted on a bid form, contained in the
specifications. Bids, which are not submitted on such form, will be rejected.
Pre‐Bid Meeting There will be no pre‐bid meeting scheduled for Transportation Services To and From School
Bid #24‐08.

Technical Specifications
DISTRICT INFORMATION
Mount Holly Township is a public school district, preschool (pre‐K) through grade 8. The District
includes two elementary schools and one middle school, serving approximately 1,100 students and
employing approximately 126 teaching staff.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
It is the intention of the Mount Holly Township Board of Education to award a contract for transportation
services for McKinney‐Vento‐Eligible and/or Special Education Students as needed. Transportation routes and
stops are to be determined with destinations to include but not be limited to the following schools:
John Brainerd Elementary School, 100 Wollner Drive, Mount Holly, NJ 08060
Gertrude C. Folwell Elementary School, 455 Jacksonville Road, Mount Holly, NJ 08060
F.W. Holbein Middle School, 333 Levis Drive, Mount Holly, NJ 08060
The Board of Education intends to award a contract for transportation as soon as possible after the
date set for the opening of bids and to require the successful contractor to provide transportation in
accordance with the school calendar. The attached school calendar is part of these specifications and
of the contract. Routes which require transportation to more than one school will require the
successful bidder to follow the school calendar and daily scheduled hours of each school at no
additional cost, including early dismissals and/or late arrivals as may be scheduled at times by the
individual school.
The term of the contract will be from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 according to the school
calendar. Contracts may be renewed for subsequent school years. Student transportation contracts
include all the rules and procedures pertaining to student transportation though not expressly stated.

ARRIVAL TIME AT FIRST STOP ___TBD A.M.
Route shall begin at TBD to the John Brainerd, Gertrude C. Folwell, and F.W. Holbein Schools.
Vehicle shall arrive at the F.W. Holbein Middle School no earlier than 7:30 A.M. or later than 8:00
A.M.; at the Gertrude C. Folwell Elementary School no earlier than 7:45 A.M. or later than 8:15 A.M.;
at the John Brainerd Elementary School no earlier than 8:00 A.M. or later than 8:30 A.M.
P.M. Run begins at the F.W. Holbein Middle School at 2:45 P.M. and shall be the reverse of the A.M.
run unless so indicated.
