The project is located in Clark County, Nevada, T21S R61E Sec 23 & 24 and T21S R62E Sec 19 on Harmon Avenue from Maryland Parkway to Pecos Road and at the intersection of Rochelle Avenue and Escondido Street. The scope of work includes: reconstruct, rehabilitate, and widen pavement; construct sidewalk, driveways, and sidewalk ramps in pavement widening areas; construct new concrete cross gutters and replace existing concrete cross gutters; replace sidewalk ramps that are not ADA-compliant; replace damaged curb, gutter, and sidewalk; install bicycle lanes and pavement markings; construct storm drain facilities; adjust utilities; upgrade HPS streetlights to LED and install new streetlights and streetlighting conduits, wires, and pull boxes; install ITS conduits, pull boxes, fiber optic cable, and other appurtenances; install loop detectors and traffic signal conduits, cables, and pull boxes; install a school flasher system; and replace existing signs and install new signs.

On sheets SL-3 and SL-5 ITS construction note No. 8 calls for replacement of the existing No. 200 vault lids with new torsion assist lids.

This is a costly item of work and on all previous County projects has been paid by a separate bid item.

We request a bid item be added for this work which we show a QTY of 2.
