Lewisville Independent School District ("LISD", "District") is a Texas public school district located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area which encompasses approximately 127 square miles and has approximately 49,000 students and 6,400 staff members.

LISD owns 285 yellow school buses currently operating approximately 215 daily bus routes (morning and afternoon) and additional mid-day shuttles between various campuses. The LISD bus fleet operates out of three transportation facilities located at 601 E. Purnell St, Lewisville, TX 75057; 900 S. Mill St, Lewisville, TX 75057; and 4325 Cougar Alley, The Colony, TX, 75056

Lewisville ISD is soliciting LISD eligible cooperative contract quotes for School Bus Wi-Fi and Cellular Wireless Service on District-wide owned student transportation. This request for quote includes equipment and service to provide internet connectivity for student use on 285 yellow school buses for 1, 3, or 5 years, including all hardware to power the equipment and installation services. Alternate vendor solutions will be considered. This is a turnkey project.

The District is requesting equipment and service, and is asking the Vendors to adhere to the specifications on the quotes. All quotes must be pursuant to an LISD eligible cooperative contract that meets the requirements of the State of Texas educational procurement law. The Vendor will work with the District to seek E-Rate reimbursement for the products and services contemplated in this solicitation.
