    TO ALL CONTRACTORS:
    This Addendum is hereby made a part of the Contract Documents dated March 8, 2024.

    The following items shall be considered part of the contract documents and shall be included in the same
    when Construction Contract is executed. Changes made by Addenda shall take precedence over
    Original Documents. Any changes, which may affect construction or proper installation of materials,
    equipment or fixtures, not specifically mentioned in this addendum, shall be brought to the attention of
    Designer before submitting bid. Otherwise, such conditions, if found later to exist, must be worked out in
    an acceptable manner without additional cost to the Owner. Prime Contractors are hereby advised to call
    attention of all subcontractors to changes, which may affect their work.
    GENERAL
    1. The Bid Date and Time shall be changed as follows:
    The Calcasieu Parish School Board will receive sealed bids before 1:30PM, Tuesday, April 23,
    2024 at the Calcasieu Parish School Board, Attention: Tony Motamedi, Superintendent’s
    Conference Room, 3310 Broad St., Lake Charles, Louisiana 70615. Bid may also be submitted
    by electronic means via website www.centralbidding.com.
    2. Please find the attached Pre-Bid Meeting Agenda / Minutes as well as Attendance Sign-In
    Sheet.
    3. Any contractor wishing to review the existing conditions at the project site can do so on the
    following dates and times. Report to the front desk upon arrival and sign-in accordingly.
    April 10, 2024 from 12:30pm until 3:00 pm
    April 11, 2024 from 12:30pm until 3:00 pm
    April 13, 2024 from 12:30pm until 3:00 pm
    DRAWINGS
    1. Original Sheet M101f shall be replaced with enclosed revised sheet M101f.

    PRE-BID CONFERENCE AGENDA / MINUTES
    SIGN IN & INTRODUCTIONS
    The following individuals were designated as the contact person for their
    organizations:
    Owner’s Representative – CSRS Program Management –
    William Barry
    Design Team: Architect – Grace Hebert Curtis Architects –
    Jeremy Myers
    Structural – Duhon Pleasant Civil & Structural Engineers
    Mechanical – Thompson Luke Assoc.
    Electrical – Parish Engineering
    GENERAL BIDDING INFORMATION
    Project bid by public bid and shall adhere to all Louisiana State Public Law
    requirements.
    Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is Non-Mandatory for all General Contractors
    interested in bidding the project.
    The Calcasieu Parish School Board will receive sealed bids before 1:30PM,
    Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Calcasieu Parish School Board, Attention: Tony
    Motamedi, Superintendent’s Conference Room, 3310 Broad St., Lake Charles,
    Louisiana 70615
    Bids may also be submitted by electronic means via website
    www.centralbidding.com. Free registration is required in order to submit a bid via the
    Central Bidding website.
    CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT OVERVIEW
    All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of
    the sum of the base bid and all Additive Alternates.
    Contract Time - 240 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
    Liquidated Damages will be assessed at $500.00 per calendar day.
    The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond
    written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in an amount equal to
    100% of the Contract amount.
    The project is tax-exempt. Contractor encouraged to notify sub-contractors.

    REVIEW OF SCOPE OF WORK
    Team members briefly mentioned the scope of work of each discipline as depicted within the
    Contract Documents.

    ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
    All Post Bid Documentation will be tracked utilizing Centerline (www.centeline.co),
    including but not limited to:
    o RFI
    o RFC
    o ASI
    o Change Orders
    o Pay Applications
    o Shop Drawings
    o Testing Reports
    Prior Approvals and Requests for Information/Clarification
    o As per the Instructions to Bidders - all requests for information, clarification,
    substitution or prior approval, must be submitted in writing to the Architect at
    least seven (7) days prior to Bid Date. All Prior Approvals and Requests for
    Information during bidding shall be posted to Centerline’s Bid Module
    (www.centerlinebidconnect.com).
    MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
    The campus will remain occupied during construction. Contractor shall maintain all
    required egress throughout construction. Contractors shall provide fencing to keep
    students out of the construction area. Contractor will need to coordinate utility shut-
    downs and disruptive construction activities with school hours and school schedule.
    Non smoking and drug free environment.
    The Owner will designate an area for lay-down, dumpster, and construction related
    parking upon award of contract.
