Place of Performance:
This effort is for the inspection and repair of a quantity of four Dry Support Bridge (DSB) systems located OCONUS, as well as miscellaneous repair hardware for DSB systems located CONUS. The DSB provides the United States (U.S) Army with an enhanced tactical bridging capability that replaces existing bridges currently in service with U.S. ground forces, including the Medium Girder Bridge (MGB). The system is a highly mobile, truck-mounted (Government provided), rapidly emplaced, modular bridging system capable of spanning gaps up to 46 meters without the use of intermediate supports, piers, span junctions or reinforcement sets. The DSB allows for crossing of wheeled vehicles up to Military Load Classification (MLC) 96 normal/120 under caution crossing conditions and tracked vehicles up to MLC 80 normal crossing conditions.
