This sources sought, in accordance with FAR Part 10, is to conduct market research on industry capability to construct a visitor contact station at Round Spring Campground for the Department of Interior, National Park Service, at Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

The synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided other then market research. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a), or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate based on the responses for this notice.

No proposal package, solicitation, specification or drawings is available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow-up information requests.

The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The responses to this sources sought will be used in determining whether a competitive set-aside or full and open competition is appropriate for this requirement. Misrepresentation of size status can result in penalties (the size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.-see 13 CFR 121.108). Please refer to current SBA guidance and Title 13 Part 126 Subpart B of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) regarding HUBZone firms. All firms should be registered and certified in the System for Award Management (SAM) which can be found at www.sam.gov.

Analysis of the quality of responses to this sources sought announcement will be considered in the market research being conducted, and in the making of any small business set-aside determination for this requirement.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Construct a visitor contact station at Round Spring Campground in Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

The new building will be a D log profiled timber structure built atop the existing structural slab on grade with standing seam metal roofing. Some selective demolition will replace damaged thru-slab water, electricity, and sewer utilities. The building will have a front porch at the entrance, a visitor contact front room, employee offices, restroom, and kitchenette. There will be a fiberglass entry door and windows, interior wood doors, gypsum board ceiling, and laminate wood flooring throughout. The contact station shall be a prefabricated and/or manufactured log structure.

In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000.

The estimated start date for the work is April 24, 2023 and the selected contractor shall be required to complete the entire project not later than 220 days after the start date.
